
This course is designed to give staff in any organisation an overview of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in particular the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and UK Data Protection Act 2018.
Course objectives:
Upon completion of this course you should be able to:
• Explain what GDPR is and who is affected by it
• Give reasons why data protection laws changed
• List the 8 data protection principles and rights
• Outline the role of the Data Protection Officer
• Explain what a Subject Access Request is and the part it has in GDPR
• Describe the importance of Personal Data
• Outline the implications of data breaches and fines
Course outline:
In this course, you will get a short, interactive e-learning module to study. The module consists of ten lessons and a quiz. The lessons are bite-sized, so you can access and complete a lesson in a break at work, on your commute or fit it around other activities. This way you can dedicate as much or as little time to studying as is suitable to your needs and preferences. The whole course should take around one hour to complete.

This course is designed for:
1. Those going on a CQI IRCA approved AS9100 QMS (Quality Management Systems) training course. It is a requirement, of CQI IRCA, that those attending their approved courses have a minimum level of knowledge about the standard.
2. Anyone interested in learning about Quality Management and AS9100D.
Course objectives:
Given e-Learning and additional reading, you should be able to obtain a basic knowledge of the structure and core concepts of AS9100D. You should also be able to get an understanding of the main content of the clauses of AS9100D. After this course, you should be ready to undertake further training.

In this course, you will get 1 e-Learning module, containing 13 lessons, to study. The lessons are bite-sized so you can access and study them in a break at work while commuting or fit it around other activities. This way you can dedicate as much or as little time to studying as is suitable to your needs and preferences. The whole course should take under 2 hours to complete. There is also additional reading to support the e-Learning, this document can be downloaded and kept for future reference.
